SSIS MALARAYAT DOMINATED SGEN CUP 2019

SSIS Malarayat Athletes dominated SGEN Cup 2019, placing in ALL sports competitions, and getting 3 CHAMPIONSHIP titles – Basketball Tournament, Badminton Singles (Male) and Badminton Singles (Female).

For the first leg of the event held March 2, 2019, Volleyball and Badminton athletes showed their grit as they landed the Top Places:

BADMINTON

Ma Kimberly Anne Lorilla – CHAMPION (Singles, Female Category)
Cyrus Tenorio – CHAMPION and Most Valuable Player (Singles, Male Category)
Erwin Uy Donaire & Rhea Jane Pulgadoo – 1ST RUNNER-UP (Doubles Category)

VOLLEYBALL

GIRLS Team – 1st RUNNER UP
Cristina Alvarez Averion – part of the Mythical Six
BOYS Team – 2nd RUNNER UP
JM Virtucio – part of the Mythical Six
The second Saturday of the month, March 9, 2019, was the turn of the Basketball Tournament; and the Basketball varsity team did not disappoint. Once again, this solid team bagged the Championship title, making it a 5-Peat victory, consistently and consecutively prevailing among and against the other SGEN schools. The following athletes were recognized accordingly:
