Stonyhurst Southville International School – Malarayat Campus students Pauleen Kay I. Torres (9 Argentina) and Franz Margaux L. Perez (10 Peru) qualified in the 1st International Children and Youth Watercolor Festival Competition in Hong Kong.
The works of Torres (Embrace Life with Acceptance, Balance, and Love) and Perez (Reality) were selected from almost 1000 artworks from 40 countries around the world. As qualifiers, their artworks will be exhibited in PASS IT ON 2018 – Embrace Life Children and Youth Watercolor Festival in Leung Fong Oi Wan Art Gallery, Hong Kong from November 9-12. The festival winners will have the opportunity to participate in other IWS exhibitions plus a chance to meet master artists in the art world today.
The International Children & Youth Watercolor Festival Competition, organized by the International Watercolor Society, encourages children and young people to participate in artistic creation encouraging them to seek interest in visual arts appreciation and broaden their international horizons.
