Taal outrage could not stop them from competing! Our Mathletes marched to Dasmariñas, Cavite to join the ASMEPPS (Association of Science and Mathematics Educators of Philippine Private Schools) National Battle of Science and Mathematics Champions held last Jan. 31, 2020, a few weeks after the eruption of the Taal Volcano.
These gritty students have once again proven that they could still bring home the bacon and grace the contest with excellence amidst the chaos that happened to its community. Congratulations to the following students for bagging these awards among hundreds of participants and qualifiers: Julien Santi Avenir (5th Place), Rod Jacob Manalo (10th Place), Prinx Savier Cortez (4th Place), Keisha Sophia Mission (2nd Place), Irish Balahadia (7th Place), Aidan Gilles Rosita (2nd Place), Alyana Michaela Marquez (8th Place), Jan Feliza Siscar (7th Place), Kiesha Zheanna Bacay (3rd Place) and Michael Gerard Tongson (2nd Place).
