REBUILDING HOMES

Your generosity made a difference!

Stonyhurst Southville International School Malarayat (SSISM) together with the whole Southville Global Education Network (SGEN) community extends its heartfelt gratitude to those who shared their heart of generosity and donated for the victims of the typhoon Odette.

It was a devastating experience for our brothers and sisters from the town of Bindoy, Negros Oriental last December 2021 when the typhoon hit their area and destructed their houses. SGEN immediately partnered with Perpetual Help Community Cooperative (PHCCI) of Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, and identified families to provide shelter and rebuild houses for them.

The response to this unfortunate incident was immense and very positive, making us gather enough funds and resources to help rebuild houses for three (3) families: Olpos, Amosco, and Bordago families (shown in the uploaded poster). Your donations are a huge support to reconstruct, make the families safe and it brought so much joy to their hearts.

Please allow us to thank in particular the school’s management; teachers and staff; Samantha and Dastan Columna and family; Nathaniel Ashley Hsu and family; Matthew Andrei and Carlene Andrea Buen and family; Jose Nicholas and Francesco Jeoffrey Pavia and family; Ray and Jet Lingao; Nestor and Josie Umali; Ed and Jovy Umali; Carding and Sally Umali; Ruben and Lily Cagas; Mr. Floro Marasigan, Jr.; and Dr. Gayle Gomez for the financial provisions. We also equally express our gratitude to the entire SSISM community for the prayers we have collectively uttered for all the victims of the typhoon.

For those who still wish to donate, you are most welcome to do so. You may please get in touch with us through the school’s accounting office at 7574878 or just send us a message via email or FB messenger for detailed information.

We believe as a loving community cohered with a heart of service and generosity, we can really make a difference in the lives of so many people.

Together, we will always wear our invisible crown! Quant je Puis!
