Playing is important in the lives of children because when they play they have better cognitive, physical, social, and emotional health. They also learn about the world and about themselves as they play. They also pick up qualities like the confidence that they need for relationships, jobs, and school.
SSISM congratulates Tr. Mara for having completed a short course on Child Psychology: The Importance of Play through Alison (an online academy). As we motivate students to explore education beyond the classroom walls and hone skills that would trigger a myriad of ideas, our teachers and staff enhance their abilities as well.
