It is the last week of school before the Christmas break, and the holiday spirit is indeed in the air! After the rocKING success of the Christmas Bazaar, we dive into the core of the season.
This year, the traditional Christmas Lighting Ceremony comes with a delightful twist, as both Grade School and High School students will be treated to a festive night-time spectacle on December 11 (Monday) starting at 4 PM, offering a magical blend of activities for everyone to enjoy.
The “Christmas Night Lights” Program offers a delightful experience, starting with Food Booths for students to enjoy. Students can get creative in the Tree Adornment Activity, adding their personal touch to the decorations. The Christmas Jam will provide a musical backdrop, setting the perfect tone. The highlight? The eagerly awaited Christmas Lighting Ceremony, promising to bring warmth and joy to the night.
Meanwhile, our youngest learners in the Early Childhood Education Department (ECED) will be celebrating in their respective classes during the day, ensuring that the magic of Christmas reaches every corner of the school.
While ECED will wear regular uniform, Grade School and High School students are encouraged to dress in casual attire, with green or red as the preferred motif. (Jeans, leggings, or shorts are recommended.) Each student is requested to bring one stemmed artificial flower, contributing to the collective beauty of the event.
For the convenience of everyone involved, please note the reporting times:
Preschool (AM & PM) – Regular Reporting Schedule
Grades 1-2 – 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM
Grades 3-6 – 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Let’s come together as a school community to celebrate the magic of the season at “Christmas Night Lights.” It’s an evening filled with joy, laughter, and the warm glow of shared moments. See you there! #SSISM #ChristmasNightLights #AllAboutChristmas @RocKINGChristmas
