12 STUDENTS AWARDED BY THE INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS AND ASSESSMENTS FOR SCHOOLS (ICAS)
The International Competitions and Assessments for Schools (ICAS) recently announced its awardees for year 2019. Twelve students received Credit, Merit and Distinction awards from the English assessment taken last September 28, 2019.
SSIS Kings participated in the ICAS English which was held at the First Asia Institute of Technology and Humanities, Tanauan City. This has been an opportunity for students to join an international appraisement in terms of their reading and language skills.
Among the list of winners with credit, merit, and distinction were the following:
- DISTINCTION AWARD – Prinx Cortez
- CREDIT AWARD – Matthew Buen, Keisha Mission, Jameson Cabiles, Jan Feliza Siscar
- MERIT AWARD – Elrei Mangubat, Irish Balahadia, Alexandra Katigbak, Alyana Marquez, Jom Kaw, Keisha Bacay, Michael Tongson
ICAS also holds assessments for Math and Science.
