Stonyhurst Southville International School – Malarayat proudly announces that its signature program, Theater Thursday, has been recognized by Character.org as a 2026 Promising Practice, marking the school’s third Promising Practice recognition. 
This milestone follows earlier honors for Act of Courtesy (2024) and Best Values Reflections (2025), underscoring SSISM’s continued commitment to character formation and values-based education 
Running for more than a decade, Theater Thursday has become a meaningful weekly tradition where students from Preschool to Senior High School take the stage to perform, host, and express themselves creatively before the school community. It has grown into a defining part of SSISM culture, helping students build confidence, strengthen communication skills, develop leadership, and express themselves with purpose.Beyond student development, Theater Thursday continues to strengthen the school community by bringing together students, teachers, parents, and visitors in a shared weekly experience. 
Principal Donnabelle L. Atienza expressed pride in the recognition, emphasizing how the program reflects the school’s mission of holistic education:
